FAQ about Grandma

Are you real or a made up character?
I assure you I'm a real person. Rae is my real name. I'm the Web-Gal as well. I love to sew and this site represents my joy of being in the sewing room sharing my fabrics, buttons and sewn items with you.

Do you really make this stuff?
YES! All sewing work is done by me. I enjoy sewing, both hand and machine sewing. I am a busy bee! Tour my Sewing Room

How long have you been in business?
Long before I was online I sold my Little Baby Quilts and my other small items in a couple of Consignment Shops. Then in 2007 I decided to stop running around an began this website.
Why don't you have a Shopping Cart?
Actually it's a long boring story. Mostly it's because I LIKE the Old Fashioned Way of doing business and talking to my customers. The good news is - I accept credit cards or checks.

Where is your store?
No "Bricks & Mortar" store. I'm online ONLY.

I was wondering... I own a Tea Shop. May I purchase wholesale from you?
Sorry, I do not sell wholesale.

Do you have a catalog?
No. My website is my catalog. Grab a cup of tea and enjoy your browse.

Mission statement:
Every company or organization has a mission statement; it's the WHY of what they do whenever they do it.
Here's mine:

Because I am aware of all the talents the Lord has given me and because I am grateful of all the blessings the Lord has bestowed on me, my desire in having/running this business is to treat others the way the Lord has treated me; in that I respect their requests, provide kind and courteous service and send them a product that reflects a level of excellence given to me by the Lord. The Bible teaches me Do all things as unto the Lord. (Colossians 3:23)

**Parent company GrandmaRae.com went online in 2007. August of 2011 TEAtitudes was launched for tea themed stationary and inspirational gifts. However, In 2018 I moved all those things to Grandma's website and closed down the site.  October 2013 the Teapot Rescue site was launched just so I could play and share my Tea Things.
