How to make a Little Teapot Gift Bag

Begin by drawing your pattern (take liberties with mine). Trace and cut two of each pattern pieces onto your fabric. Handle piece is made with single cut 2"x7" OR for a narrower handle cut it 1" or 1 1/2"... you decide.

Pin face to face. Sew flap arc only on larger piece and smooth arc on the smaller one.  Make handle by folding fabric strip in on itself and top stitching.

I think you can look and draw your own pattern have fun!
But...
If you feel you need a pattern

Here is a full sized pattern

After you have sewn the arc, turn and press the two pieces flat. Match as shown and tuck in the handle piece. I like to clip the edges as shown to make the teapot easier to turn inside out.

Sew around the edges and clip to make turning easier.
Press. Add a button for decoration and if you'd like a little friendship saying card.
